Patek Philippe 150th Anniversary Ref. 3960J in 18 YG Full Set From 1989

Introduced in 1989 to mark the manufacture’s 150th anniversary, the 3960J is a symbolic timepiece in the history of Patek Philippe, designed as a tribute to traditional watchmaking. Only 2000 pieces in 18k yellow gold has been ever produced.

Its 33 mm 18k yellow gold ‘Officer’ case is distinguished by its hinged caseback, directly inspired by vintage pocket watches. Opening it reveals the commemorative engravings marking this anniversary, a detail reserved for its owner.

The white enamel dial embodies all the classic purity so dear to Patek. The Breguet numerals, Breguet hands, railway-track minute track and small seconds at 6 o’clock form a harmonious whole.

Powered by the mechanical Calibre 215, the 3960J combines discretion and excellence in a timeless format.

This piece comes from its first owner, acquired in Geneva in 1989. It is accompanied by its original box, its certificate and its 150th anniversary commemorative piece.
