Rolex Oysterquartz Ref. 17014 Stickered w/Box & Papers Circa 1987
Produced in 1987 and sold in 1991 in Singapore by Watch Palace, this Rolex Oysterquartz Datejust ref. 17014 is presented in exceptional condition, still retaining its original caseback sticker.
Its iconic angular case remains in remarkable condition, with razor-sharp edges and extremely crisp finishing throughout. The 18k white gold fluted bezel retains all of its definition, while the integrated Oyster bracelet highlights the distinctive and highly architectural design of the Oysterquartz.
The dial and hands are preserved in perfect condition, giving the watch a particularly clean and cohesive appearance. The clasp remains exceptionally tight, offering a rare glimpse of what an Oysterquartz felt like when delivered new.
The watch is powered by the Rolex calibre 5035, widely regarded as one of the finest mecaquartz movements ever produced in Swiss watchmaking. Renowned for its precision and sophisticated construction, the movement has just been fully serviced.
Accompanied by its original box and papers, this ref. 17014 embodies a different side of Rolex: rare, technical, and deeply rooted in the iconic design language of the 1980s.
