At Journey, we draw inspiration from the centuries-old traditions of watchmaking, where decorative techniques have elevated timepieces into works of art. Rooted in this rich heritage, we’ve taken the very DNA of these designs from Côte de Genève and Flinqué to Guilloché and reimagined them into a unique artistic universe.
In collaboration with Swiss artist Jérôme Gautier, each mechanical drawing is meticulously created in Switzerland using a Pen Plotter. It traces up to 1.8 kilometers of ink over 11 hours of drawing, transforming watchmaking’s decorative codes into contemporary artworks. It is time captured in lines.
