Tudor Submariner Blue Ref. 75090 from 1992 with papers

Introduced in 1954 as Tudor’s own answer to the Rolex Submariner, the Submariner line built its reputation on offering equal robustness at a more accessible price, a philosophy this reference 75090 continues to embody.

Produced in 1992, this mid-size 36mm variant, fitted with its striking dark blue lacquered dial and faded blue aluminum bezel, represents one of the last Submariner generations to share components directly with parent company Rolex, including its Oyster case and signed crown, before Tudor moved to fully independent parts.

The original tritium has aged into a beautiful creamy patina, remarkably homogeneous across the indexes, hands and bezel pearl, a quality collectors prize above all on these references. The sapphire crystal shows some light marks consistent with age and wear.

At its core is the automatic calibre ETA 2824-2, a robust and reliable movement offering approximately 38 hours of power reserve.

Accompanied by its original papers, dated 1992 and issued in Liechtenstein, this Submariner comes with a genuine piece of period-correct provenance, a detail that significantly enhances its collectability.
