Tudor Submariner Blue Ref. 75090 from 1993

Born in 1954 as Tudor’s own answer to the Rolex Submariner, the line built its reputation on offering the same robustness at a more accessible price, a philosophy this reference 75090 continues to embody in a mid-size 36mm case.

Produced in 1993, this example is preserved in original condition. Its dark blue lacquered dial retains its original tritium, as do the hands, while the bezel pearl has aged to a warm pumpkin tone. The bezel and its insert show some marks of wear, honest signs of a watch that has been worn and kept.

The steel bracelet and its clasp are in nice condition, with some light traces of wear, and fit wrists up to 17cm.

At its core is the automatic calibre ETA 2824-2, recently serviced, a robust and reliable movement.

The blue mid-size Submariner, a color collectors seek, in an original condition that is increasingly hard to find.
